As an Italian immigrant, I really have a problem finding restaurants
where I can eat here in the United States. Often, meals are either
badly prepared (e.g. overcooked), use poor ingredients, too many
ingredients or they overuse flavors (e.g., too much garlic is the most
common problem). As a result, I spent a lot of time complaining about
the poor quality of the food at the restaurants I visited here in Boston, Cambridge and in the nearby
suburbs.
Finally, rather than complain, I decided to reach out to my
countrymen in Greater Boston, who generally have educated palates, to
ask for their favorite restaurants of different types, at different price levels, and suitable to both children and adults.
Thanks to the members of the Boston Bambino Club, for helping me compile this list.
